We were standing on the top of Mt Ryggåsberget (1946m), 4-5 days walking distance from the nearest road in the heart of Swedish Laponia, when the late evening Sun broke through the cloud cover and lit up the landscape around us. Such moments repayed all the effort we made after hiking, skiing and canoeing several months in Europe’s largest wilderness area.
