From early contest shakeups to progressing the sport in countless magazines and videos, Terje’s influence on snowboarding’s trajectory is truly monumental. Terje’s Olympic boycott and creation of the Arctic Challenge made him a pioneering proponent of rider-run contests. As a competitor he has stacked accolades including all-time high quarterpipe airs and seven Mt Baker Legendary Banked Slalom wins.
Desillusion Magazine’s editor in chief Sebastien Zanella followed Terje Haakonsen on a road trip around Norway to gain a true insight into his life away from the spotlight.

It took nearly one yearin Hong Kong, 6000 photos and 10 locations to create this music video. After the success of my last timelapse/hyperlapse video “Motorized City” I’ve decided to take it to the next level and do a music video. Brandon Ho from the local Hong Kong hip hop group, 24 Herbs, came to me with a song and agreed to let me use his track for this video. Brandon had to move step by step and stand for nearly 2 hours for every shot. In one particular shot he had to change his shirt every 25 photos. Please enjoy my video.
首個我以timelapse縮時攝影及hyperlapse超行縮影方式為24味成員Brandon Ho之個人單曲”Love Never Dies”進行MV拍攝，全片於香港拍攝歷時一年，超過6000張相片，10個地點，Brandon要在拍攝地點以一步一張相片慢速移動或站立不動，每個畫面都要花上1至2小時去完成，其中有一幕他更須要不斷移動每25張相片換衣服一次。
This song is about Love. The love that is in us, around us, affecting all our lives. The Source, Universe, God, the Force…all names for the same thing. Nature is a good representation of how everything flows and continues on to infinity. Nothing ever really dies. Love Never Dies. Bless

But all is not lost!! It is the creative minds, the radical thinkers, the artists and hell-men who bring us closer to the fringe where boundaries begin to dissolve. When you question everything, you walk amongst those who refuse to conform to the constructs of the status quo. Welcome to Afends Country… it’s In Our Nature. Dig deep and you’ll find it in yours."

Our focus was to take skating away from its typical context of the concrete urban-sprawl, leaving the mundane behind and becoming at one with the hinterlands of our Afends Country surroundings.
Venturing in-land from the rainbow region we embarked on an exploration for surreal environments. What we discovered was a Utopian paradise of graffiti-trashed rusted ramps, encompassed by teepees, mechanical relics and isolated mountain outlooks.
Shot in a single afternoon our ragtag gang of skaters, artists + extended family members commandeered the isolated transitions and transformed them into a playground of recreational mayhem. It was our blank canvas where rules didn’t apply & the dreamers were allowed to believe once more…
The final result is a cross pollination of pop culture where french fries meets 360-flips and flares alight the forest. We came, we created and destroyed!!'In Our Nature' is a Short Film by Kaius Potter featuring Boyd Young, Robert 'Maca' Macalister and introducing Daniel Bones.

Raising money for mate in need.
Donate For A Mate (DFAM) was started in May 2013 by Gold Coast professional stunt performer Scotty Gregory to help support his mate who is fighting MDS and is waiting for a bone marrow transfer.
To date Scotty has eaten the hottest chillies available; scootered through the middle of Surfers Paradise in a bikini; taken on professional fighter John Wayne Parr in the ring; dressed up as William Wallace from Braveheart and had high-tea at Palazzo Versace hotel and worn an electric collar which someone was activating at different intervals while Scotty sang the Australian National Anthem. These are only a taste of what Scotty has done to raise money for his mate.
Donate For A Mate is now a registered charity and is on the lookout for new “mates” to support.
DFAM receives nominations from mates for ‘mates in need’ and raises money by having people pledge money for Scotty or members of the DFAM Pledge crew to perform stunts to receive that money.Whether your ‘mate’ is suffering an illness or has a family member that is ill and needs financial help with medical treatment, bills or ongoing therapy etc, the team at DFAM is keen to assist.
